Squeezing exercise into life is super tricky as a new Mum which is why we have ensured our Buggy Fitness classes are as accessible as possible. With 4 classes across the week to choose from and flexibility if you’re unable to attend due to illness, sleepless nights, injections etc we have it covered.
Buggy fitness is suitable for Mums wanting to get in shape following the birth of their little one. It’s often difficult to know where to start but safe and effective postnatal exercise from a specialist is really important at this time. We focus on recovery first before any impact, weight or ballistic movements. Our classes consist of power walking, with strengthening and conditioning exercises to aid recovery, improve posture and decrease baby weight. As well as strengthening areas that have weakened during pregnancy, we concentrate on stretching and mobilising areas of the body that feel restricted, sore or tight.
A full screening form will need to be completed prior to your first Buggy Fitness class, and a diastasis
check performed to identify where you are in your postnatal recovery. Bringing your baby with you as well as being outdoors isn’t just convenient it has lots of benefits too:-
